Privacy
Little Tree Hugger does not sell, or share, your personal or order information to or with anyone. Information that we collect (such as address, etc) is solely used for shipping purposes and/or to contact you regarding your purchases or upcoming promotions.

Q: What is PayPal?
A: PayPal is like an online bank. You can choose to pay using your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal balance. PayPal allows you to make secure purchases without revealing your credit card number or financial information to Little Tree Hugger. You don't need a PayPal account to use the service. When at check out, select Pay Pal as your form of payment. Proceed as normal, at the end of the paying process, you will be asked if you want to save your information or return to merchant. If you do not wish to sign up for a free Pay Pal account, simply press "return to merchant." The transaction is safe and secure!

Sales Tax
As a registered business with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), we are required to charge the GST on all purchases and remit this money to the federal government. Orders in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador are subject to the HST.

Packaging/Receipts
As an environmentally-friendly company, Little Tree Hugger tries to reduce, reuse and recycle when and where we can. You may receive your order in a cracker or cereal box etc. . .but rest assured, you will be getting your diapers and not crackers or cereal. Only recycled packing material that cannot damage your products will be used. In order to save a tree, we do not include a packing slip or invoice with your order. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email which is considered your receipt. Please save this for your records, should you require an exchange or return in the future.

Shipping/Delivery

Canada:
Within Canada we offer free shipping on orders over $200.00Cdn (before taxes and shipping). Orders that are less than $200.00Cdn will be shipped within Canada at these rates:
$0-$99.9Cdn = $8.88Cdn
$100 - $199.99 Cdn = $12.00Cdn
We ship via Canada Post and always include insurance and a tracking number. Delivery in Canada can range between 2 - 10 business days. If you need your order sooner, please contact Little Tree Hugger for shipping options/prices.
**please note remote areas of Northern Canada (inc. NT, YT, NU and Labrador) may be subject in additional shipping fees as per Canada Posts' usual shipping rates. Feel free to contact Little Tree Hugger to verify shipping charges prior to ordering.

International:
Shipping to the continental USA is available as of July 1,2009.
We offer free shipping on orders over $200.00Cdn (before shipping). Orders that are less than $200.00Cdn at these rates:
$0-$99.99 Cdn = $16.75Cdn
$100 - $199.99 Cdn = $25.00Cdn
We ship via Canada Post and and we offer insurance valued at $100Cdn included in your shipping rate. If you would like additional insurance coverage it is available for $1.20Cdn/per $100 of coverage and you need to advise us of this before we ship your parcel. Delivery to the continental USA can range between 12 - 14 business days. Please note that the customer is responsible for any additional fees such as duty or brokerage fees etc, and Little Tree Hugger is not.

Local Delivery and Pick-Up:
Local delivery/ pick-up of your items may be available. Please contact Little Tree Hugger to inquire as to what areas are covered for local delivery.

Sale Pricing After Purchase

If a product goes on sale within 1 week (7 days) of your purchase we will issue a store credit for the difference if you contact us to bring the matter to our attention (unless prohibited by a supplier). Store credit will be issued as a discount code which can be used online for your next purchase.

Returns

We test our products ourselves and are confident enough to stand behind them with a money back guarantee. You may return your unused item for any reason within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund. The returning item must be unused, unwashed, with attached tags and/or packaging and must be free of odours (inc. smoke and perfume). Little Tree Hugger is not responsible for any costs of returning an item, unless it is due to our error. Any items that were shipped via free shipping will have the actual shipping costs deducted from the refund upon return. Before returning any items, please contact Little Tree Hugger. Items returned without advance authorization will not be accepted.

Warranties

Most products we carry have some type of manufactures warranty. In most cases the warranties cover defects such as loose/improper stiching and/or damaged snaps/zippers. Things such as staining, leaking due to improper care of diapers/covers etc. are not covered under most warranties. The customer, not the manufacturers or Little Tree Hugger, is responsible for the cost to return the diaper for evaluation/repair/or replacement. It is at the manufacturers discretion of how to remedy the problem with the product. All manufacturers usually require a copy of your receipt when handling a problem covered by their warranty, so please retain a copy. Also, it is important to ensure you are following the manufacturs laundering and care recommendations; for some brands of diapers, failing to do so can void your warranty. If you have any questions, be sure you ask us in advance. If a problem is experienced, customers should contact Little Tree Hugger first, and we will provide you with the appropriate contact information for the manufacturer.

Customer Feedback Program

Customer Feedback Program starts on July 15, 2009!

We realize that people like to talk about their experiences and products they've purchased (we do too). If we've made you happy, then we are happy to hear that. We realize that when you choose to tell others good things about us, whether it be through word-of-mouth or online avenues, it helps us out. Therefore, to show our appreciation for your actions, we have created the Customer Feedback Program. It's just a small way for us to say thank-you for your repeat business and for spreading the word about what we do. Thanks!

The Fine Print:
1. Reimbursement for online feedback is $1 CAD/comment and is given as credit for future purchases with Little Tree Hugger. Maximum credit to be redeemed per purchase is $10.00 CAD.
2. Feedback links must include our web address www.littletreehugger.ca
3. It is the customer’s responsibility to keep track of feedback links. Redeem by emailing all of them at once (max 10 per time) to littletreehugger@live.ca prior to making a purchase. A discount code will be emailed back to use for your purchase.
4. After redeeming a $10 credit, customers are welcome to participate again.
5. Feedback is subject to approval/verification by Little Tree Hugger. Program is subject to change anytime.
